Activities in Consolata Suguta primary school are continuing!
The Tree of Life, in collaboration with Missione Calcutta, the Diocese, and Caritas Maralal, are successfully implementing a joint project to support the rehabilitation and upgrade of the Suguta Consolata Primary School in Samburu County, Kenya. The project is funded by the Italian Bishops’ Conference (CEI) and Missione Calcutta, and has resulted in improved education services, advocacy for children’s rights, efforts to end Gender Based Violence, and the diversification of pupils’ food and nutrition status. The project has seen the expansion of the school farm through the introduction of a poultry-farming unit and dairy cows, as well as the preparation of the school farm and the planting of vegetables, with the goal of improving pupils’ food and nutrition status
